Do you have a BDinfo file for this release or can you confirm the runtime of the film itself? Is the picture quality a big improvement over the DVD?

I really want this and if you can answer those questions I'm thinking of getting the blu-ray and ripping it to my harddrive and from their overlaying the english subtitle stream from my Criterion DVD of it.

I doubt this movie is high on the "to do" list of any english speaking countries so this might be the only way to see it in high definition for quite some time.

This is such a brilliant movie. If only it had English subtitles.
