Region Free is confirmed.
I ordered 3 blu-rays from JSDVD and I think shipping was around $20, but that was for the fastest most expensive shipping from Taiwan to the USA.
I bought it from yesasia.com, shipping is about 7 dollars/5 pounds, however as I purchased it with another item shipping was free.
@Ronin0079:
How much is the shipping from that site? Or did you get it elsewhere?
Dissapointed!!! it must be an upscale as it looks exactly like my french r2 dvd version, on the other hand plays fine on my region b uk ps3.
I just received this disc from JSDVD the other day and took a quick look at it. Here are the specs:
Audio: LPCM 5.1, Dolby Digital 5.1 Korean
Subtitles: Traditional Chinese/Simplified Chinese/English - English subs are generally very good, except the very last line of the film is not subbed (luckily I have already seen the film on DVD before).
Video is good - definitely an improvement over the R1 DVD, but not reference quality. Well worth the price I paid, as I love the film. It played fine on my US PS3 - there is no region coding listed on the back cover of the disc at all.
Thanks Mwang.
Hope you're right about the region coding.
