I enjoyed this movie a lot. Anyone expecting a full blooded action movie needs to look elsewhere though. Chow yun fat was born for this role and is at his charming best. Zhou xun has very little screen time despite being featured on the front cover artwork. Picture quality is of a high standard throughout. Mei ah should be applauded for offering three 7.1 surround options on the disc. I listened to the uncomressed audio track which had a very good dynamic range throughout the movie. Would have liked to see some behind the scenes footage, but at least it had the beautiful voice of faye wong on the music video for the movie.

Just watched a few minutes to take the screen shots, but I like what I saw until now. Gonna try to watch the full thing next week.

As usual Mei Ah have done a brilliant job with the transfer.
I liked the movie, but I felt the music was completely wrong and often pulled me out of the film itself. It was too western a score.

Nice to see a BD50 used after a number of recent BD25's popping up (Death Note 1 & 2, Mulan). Pity the audio is only 16 bit though.
I won't get to watch this til tomorrow night. Am keen to check out both PQ and AQ and the movie itself.
