Beyond Hollywood Movie Review

Bystanders aka Diary of June is a surprisingly good suspense/thriller starring Shin Eun-gyeong (My Wife is a Gangster) and Kim Yoon-jin (Lost). The topic is terrifying school bullying and neglect that leads to suicide and murders. Kim Yoon-jin turns in a terrific performance. Unfortunately, this Blu-ray release from Taiwan distributor, BitWel, is once again a DVD upscale rather than a true high def. They also cut out the original Korean credits at the end of the movie.

This is a terrific movie, but it is hard to recommend this Blu-ray. However, this may be cheapest legal way to get this movie on disc with English subtitles.
