I watched this film on an all region oppo bdp-83 and the opening minute or so suffered from truly awful motion panning! This problem was not aparent again at any time though. The movie looks a bit desaturated colourwise, but that was probably the look they were going for. A bit dissapointed that it was not a full 7.1 surround disc, however the surround channels did not have much going on anyway as it is a front heavy mix. The film was very good and jackie chan once again proves that he can act given the chance. The extra features were interesting but also blighted by the worst panning problems i have ever seen!

Watched it last night but didn't notice anything. I'm sure the problems were there. A much better film than I expected.

I got my copy today and have the same stuttering problem on my Panasonic SA player. It's a bit distracting (especially in the opening scene on the battlefield) but really no big deal since it's only for a few seconds in three or four scenes.

The film was pretty good btw, I didn't expect anything like that after all the last few Jackie Chan flicks...

I got my copy today. I checked each chapter briefly but didn't notice anything. I'm going to watch it tonight or tomorrow, and I'll try to see if I notice the encoding problems.

Great film!!!!!!!!!!!! audio video was excellent apart from the encode problem, however this seems to be confined to just the opening titles although I did notice some random stutter a couple of times but this was probably due to my budget curtis blu ray player I use for the very rare region A only titles I watch.

11seconds into the film lasts about 10 seconds, 1m 6 seconds again lasts about 10 seconds, and finally 1m 34 lasts about 20 seconds. However from what I have seen of the film this problem(hopefully) seems to concern the titles only.

My copy is on its way too, I'll check the disc on my multiregion Panasonic DMP-BD80 once it gets here.

My copy is on order. If you can confirm the exact time it happens I'll look for it. I have a multiregion player too though.

Not sure if it´s my multiregion player or the disc but there seems to be a problem with the encode during the titles(picture stutter) not sure about the rest of the film as I wont have a chance to watch it untill the weekend.
