I am not sure how things work, but I heard somewhere that future US releases will be region A only. It was region AB because Funimation was working with Manga UK until now. Then again like I said, I could be wrong as I do not understand how things work. Feel free to correct me.
Manga UK has officialy announced it is discontinuing Brotherhood on blu-ray as of volume 2. They site the high cost of releasing on blu-ray verses sales volume as the cause. Not sure how expensive it could be given they have been ports of the US releases but there you go. UK fans will have to get their Brotherhood high def fixes from the US. Not sure what this means for the future of anime and blu-ray in the UK.
