NTSC has 29,97 frames per second, PAL has 25 frames per second and film (as in film projected in a movie theater) has 24 frames per second. A Blu-Ray also has 24 frames per second.

I'm talking about the exact same version of the same film. However, depending on what format it is in, the running time is different. This has to be considered when trying to figure out if a DVD or BD is cut or uncut.

Can you tell me what the exact running time of the BitWel BD of ART OF THE DEVIL 2 is?

Caterpillar , do you mean the duration time of NTSC version should be longer than PAL version for the same movie? Or film maker released two versions - NTSC and PAL, which are not exactly the same movies? I checked this blu-ray again, it shows 1080/24p , so it means NTSC or PAL version?
I use the region A PS3 to play this blu-ray.

The big question is if this release will be uncut or not. I have no knowledge of the Taiwanese censorship laws but the 97 minutes runtime on the cover has me worried. The US NTSC DVD has a runtime of 101:58, which would be 101:52 for film/BD. Of course it would indeed be 97:47 in PAL format but we're talking a BD here.

Region free and true highdef quality, albeit with DNR, which is surprising for Blu-ray release from BitWel.
