So I guess this is not the longer director's cut that was released on DVD in Japan? That version runs about 142 minutes. Bummer.

Looks like it's an upscale. Better than the DVD but not an overly great blu-ray. If you haven't got the DVD it should be a non-brainer at the bargain low price of this Blu-ray (less than $10USD).
