Love HK Film Review

Seven Days was a pretty good suspense/thriller starring Yun-jin Kim (Lost, Shiri) as a hotshot defense lawyer who is blackmailed to free a convicted killer or her kidnapped daughter will be murdered in 7 days. Despite being over 2 hours in length, the movie kept me intrigued to the end. The PQ on this Taiwan Blu-ray release from BitWel is very good DVD upconvert. Those with small TV might even confuse this for the genuine high def, but distance detail gives it away. It seems BitWel has changed all audio format to dts HD MA on their most recent releases. This has dts HD MA 7.1 track which is pretty good for the most part. I can't tell whether its the genuine lossless track from studio master or upconvert from lossy DD 5.1 track. But the price is pretty good and this is cheaper than English subtitled Korean DVD.

It's a VERY GOOD movie, you will never know who the killer is till the end of the movie. VERY GOOD! No wonder it got the movie award.
