Ouch!
Well, I'm putting mine in the vault as we speak. Instant collector's item...
Well that makes sense, no wonder there was delay in shipping. >_<
@Gordon
Did you get your copy recently? The twitch article posted by Ard Vijn says Mighty was forced to recall all unsold copies and destroy them because they were not authorized to release a Region Free version. It is possibly if you brought your copy recently that it could be from a new pressing that is now locked to Region A.
Well, to be more specific it said "Region Code is not permitted".
Even Yesasia lists this as region A.
I don't know where you got your info from, but this is NOT region free.
I tried it on my region B PS3 and it says "Region code not permitted".
You're welcome Makusa!
Sorry I messed up your name earlier...
ARD VIJN thanks for your review!^_^
i really appriciate, i buy the german release cause will be out with many sub and my language too italian for 26 of november.
According to Manga UK this Taiwanese disc has been released without distributor Mighty being authorized to do so (regionfree, that is). Manga UK also claims the discs will be called back to be destroyed. Can anyone confirm whether or not this is true? YesAsia currently lists this edition as "temporarily unavailable" but that might also just mean it's sold out proper...
And I will be reviewing Manga UK's disc as well when the time comes. To be honest they've been pretty good with their HD-releases so I'll be very surprised if it compares disfavorably to the taiwanese disc.
It's just, you know... this one was nearly half a year earlier.
Valid argument Makusu!
By the way, Manga UK does not want people to buy this disc, nor do they want me to write a review of it either because parallel importing threatens the local domestic market. This despite the fact that I'm not English and all of Manga UKs discs I own I got through parallel importing. Maybe I misunderstood?
In their own words, added at the end of ehm... my review:
twitchfilm.net
maybe beacuse will cost the half
Cool. I'll buy it when I've come back from NYAF! Thanks AnimeonBlu!
Aaaaand.... bought!
Why wait for the German version, even if it has Dutch subs?
It is Region Free. Comes with a Nice slipcover and a film cell.
PQ is the same as the Japanese release. Subtitles are very good (appear close to the theatrical subtitles).
Very good release.
i hope will be region free i wanna buy this masterpiece!
somebody have ordered from taiwan?
