Spawcalibur, I understand, however, I only owned the OVAs on an all region dvd so the PQ is an improvement for me. Also, I currently own every Anime Blu-ray released in the U.S. so you are correct about hardcore collectors As a bonus, Disc 1 has an HD Trailer of Welcome to the Space Show & it includes a very nice 48 page artbook.

kevtronn, the video quality is basically the exactly the same as the DVD's. The 5.1 English tracks aren't on the Blu-ray, instead we only DD 2.0 English AC3 audio :/

Really the ONLY advantage is if you want the Japanese PCM stereo audio. They don't include any of the 5.1 Japanese tracks.

Waste of money in my opinion. Only for the most hardcore collectors.

Hows the picture and audio quality on this one? I've never seen it but heard great things about it. Anywhere cheaper than link below? $150 is steep compared to other series.

Received my copy today from Bandai. The packaging looks much better in person than the pics online...
