Just watched the US version and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with the english voice acting - especially Rei.

Rei is acted with far too much self confidence. She really doesn't sound right. I also much preferred the Japanese version of Mari. I missed her Japanese version of English and the original version of her singing.

Still, this is one awesome movie and can't what for parts 3 & 4.

Picture wise I didn't notice any difference to the Hong Kong release, Nest time I think I will watch the US with the Japanese track and see how the subtitles are to decide which is my version of choice between the Hong Kong and the US.

@momaw, unfortunately, it is. this has been brought to FUNimations attention more than once, and they seem not to care. can't be helped I guess...

Please tell me the amazon cover isn't the final released cover. It doesn't fit with the US 1.11 at all.

Not sure about the AB... Waiting fir confirmation to be honest. Do note that 2.22 was acquired by Funimation under a different contract than 1.11 was. I think this time both Madman and Manga-UK would frown heavily at this disc neing multiregion...

This should be region AB like the first one right?
