+ Very good image quality. Plenty sharp and detailed with lots of healthy film grain intact. Black levels are spot-on with good to great visible shadow detail in the many dark scenes. Lack of 'muddiness' is the biggest upgrade area from the DVD's in my opinion
+ Excellent uncompressed 7.1 PCM audio
- Another Mei-Ah Blu-Ray to contain a 'HD' watermark. Appears in the top-left (inside the black-bar thankfully) every 15 mins
- Subtitles aren't reproofed from the original HK DVD and are serviceble but sloppy
My least favourite 'personal' Johnny To film of the past few years but still head and shoulders above most present HK cinema.
