Yet another poor quality blu ray from kam and ronson! Where to start? The picture is very poor throughout, the odd close up shot here and there looks a bit better. The audio is at least a bit more full bodied sounding than previous dvd versions. The english subtitles are frankly rubbish! This movie is cinema gold and would sell well all over the world. Maybe if the movie was encoded at a higher bit rate and put on a bd50 disc instead of a bd25 it might look a bit better. The main problem is clearly no effort (or money!) has been made to restore the movie. All the classic movies issued by this company look awful. If you have the dvd versions then save your money, because the blu rays look no better than an upscaled dvd. I only hope another company starts releasing some older titles because they could not do any worse!
