Just tested it on my Panasonic DMP-BD80 set to region B and can confirm that the "Top menu button" trick works here as well!
Are you absolutely certain? I have an Australian ps3 and want to purchase this.

Playable with region B PS3! This release is indeed region A as reported by Anydvd HD and even region B PS3 but hitting "Top menu" button will take you to the main menu and the disc content can be played normally after this.
