It's a shame about the lack of subtitles, particularly as this doesn't look like it will have counterparts elsewhere, and Shinkai's work is always lovely to look at.

Oh come on JAPAN! I can't believe a big movie like this doesn't offere English subtitles. I'm sure there's a pretty good size market out there who will buy these movies if there were subtitles!!
