Seen it.
Picture quality is pretty good (I will be providing screen captures later).
Some shots do look out of focus but I suspect that's a problem on the original negative. I doubt that Accidental Spy will ever look better than this.
Sound quality is decent. There are still a few minor sync problems with the dialogue and the foley effects, but it's an improvement over the previous DVD edition.
The subtitles look like they've been lifted straight out of the Universe DVD. Same dumbed-down translation.
DCJuggler, thanks so much for the comment/review you added there - been looking everywhere online for a decent review/indication of the PQ for this one and couldn't find anything. Could you comment on how good the PQ looks versus the import BD versions of Infernal Affairs or Naked Weapon? Even if not, would you comment on whether you think as a whole if it is worth buying for full price? I can't remember the movie very well myself but am a huge JC fan, so if the movie content is one of his worst and the PQ is sub-par - then I will save myself a lot of trouble by then not trying to pick it up. What do you think?
The PQ on this is very hard to judge, you can tell a fair amount of DNR was applied (zero grain)...but the PQ still looks OK, yet everything looks out of focus, i dont remember the DVD being this way, so not sure what to say, 3/5 for PQ.
AQ is 4/5, It contrains TrueHD track and DD5.1 track.
