Works fine on my US region A ps3. not bad.. Better than REdcliff. but lack the high def look of Redcliff. but... (cost me more to get US version DVD than this UK version Blu-ray) easy choice

I took a gamble on this as Amazon had it for under £8 and am pleased to report the following;
The disc would appear to be region free as it works fine in my Japanese, Region A PS3. Those owning Region A machines should be cautious tho', none of the bonus features would play, leading me to believe that they have been encoded in Standard-def PAL. This is a similar situation to the discs put out by Cine-Asia, but I can't complain for the price I paid.
There is no English language option, but a choice of DD 5.1 or DTS-MA in Mandarin, along with English subs, no other language subs were available.
