I got mine today. It's region free. The menus and extras are not English friendly though. Main movie feature has English subs.

Trick is here you need to register for your free account first then wait for a welcome email letting you know that from now on all purchases you make will have an automatic 3% discount taken at checkout. Waiting for this email before pre ordering also enables 2 shipping options. Air and EMS shipping. Air is the cheaper of the 2, before I opened my account the only choice shipping wise was the $26 EMS option to the US. Air shipping was only $7 bringing the total to $37 not bad, IMO.
