Cut. Subtitled, but it's almost certainly a patented Miramax rewrite-via-deliberately-inaccurate-translation. No original music. As for the picture quality, all the other issues here preclude my wasting a moment of my time on this edition... so I can't help you there.
This version of the film is not uncut. Its the US-Version as seen on DVD a few years ago.The cuts are not too heavy. You can still live with it.But anyway cut is cut.The Blu-Ray has actually the original language cantonese in Dolby Digital 5.1 but features the music from the US-Version.
The picture quality is very good, with lots of detail and depth.
Despite the flaws this release is quite fine and more than you could actually expect from the Weinstein Bros.
If you have a region free Blu-Ray Player then you should of course go for the Kam & Ronson Hongkong BD.There you have the movie full uncut and with the original music and with a much nicer cover artwork.
So, how's the quality? Subtitles okay? Uncut? Original musik and all?
regionfreemovies.com lists this as "Confirmed Region-free".
