Japanese studio Kadokawa will release a Akira Kurosawa Collection on Blu-ray Disc on February 6, 2009. The collection will include Rashomon, Not Yet (Madadayo), The Quiet Duel (Shizukanaru ketto) and Ran. On the same day, Rashomon will be released seperately. No word on English subtitles yet.

Great news! Your move, Criterion. Can't wait to see some of this stuff in high def... especially ones that are rare to see in film. You can get lucky and see Rashomon or Ran in an indie theater if you wait long enough (around my area at least), but I haven't even heard of those other two.
