With the upcoming Blu-ray Disc releases of Kadokawa's Gamera and Daimajin collections, Toho announced to release their classic monsters on Blu as well! Godzilla will get three releases (Gojira, Godzilla vs. Biollante and Final Wars), Mothra and Rodan only one.
Of course, none of them will have English subtitles...

Why don't they put English subtitles on these things? Godzilla vs. Biollante, for example, isn't available on DVD or Blu-ray in the U.S., and if the Japanese Blu-ray had English subtitles, it would be the perfect way for the American collector to fill a hole in his collection. I don't get it, why leave them off? Is there something I'm missing?
