Details for the Korean The Good, The Bad and The Weird Release

Posted on September 05, 2009 at 08:16 by Ulrik.Tweet this

YesAsia has listed the first "real" picture of the upcoming (September 24th) Korean Blu-ray Disc release of Kim Ji-Woon's oriental western The Good, The Bad and the Weird:

Also, Korean based retailer K2DVD confirmed my enquiry about the included version of the film. According to them (and the YesAsia product description), only the shorter international cut will be included while the DVD Special Edition released in March included both cuts.

UK BD cut, Korean BD only international version (and probably code A).
And I can't stick with the korea DVD as it's code 3 and my codefree-player is broken. Awesome

I've always thought the domestic market for DVDs/Blu-rays is dead, and then they use region-codes. Morons.

I wouldn't buy the UK one.
I believe it's been cut by a few seconds (horse falls).

Better to stick to the korean DVD (which is almost as good as a Blu-Ray anyway).

Well then we can stop fucking wasting our time and just buy the UK one which has the advantage that I don't have to wait to know if I can acutally play the disc on my PS3.
