A Happy New Year 2010 to all readers of the Asian Blu-ray Guide! I hope you're all having fun tonight (or already had a great time if you're reading this from the future) while celebrating the new year. 2010 (sounds pretty futuristic, right?) should be a exciting year for Blu-ray Disc fans all over the world with more and more (independent) labels releasing their gems and especially with Studio Ghibli (hopefully) bringing us their animated masterpieces in in high definition.
The last year was a very successful year for the Asian Blu-ray Guide as you can see in the number of visitors in 2008 and 2009. With currently over 1430 Blu-ray Disc releases in the database, this site has grown to be so much more than just a small side project to my
AHT.
A very big thank you goes out to all contributors who help me to keep this site alive by reporting new releases, contributing information on region codes, audio tracks, subtitles, and sending me cover scans etc. I'd especially like to thank (in no specific order)
ahsoka, AnimeOnBlu, 8537935, kannisto, r3d-3agl3, mowaw, DCJuggler, FungManHim, muhootsaver, alexavril, MIBlackburn_d6, Supavince, tom2681 and W0mb6at for their contributions and helpful comments.
