Looks like the answer to my tweet to @MangaUK regarding the release date of The Girl Who Leapt through Time caused some ruckus because it confirmed the rumor that Mamoru Hosoda and Satoko Okudera's Summer Wars has indeed been licensed by FUNimation for an US release:

@aht_blog Will release it simultaneously with SummerWars. Waiting on Funi to dub it, so probably not until Autumn.

So, yeah! for twitter...but I guess this was the last time @MangaUK will reply to my tweets ;-)
Manga Entertainment UK also announced to release Mamoru Oshii's Miyamoto Musashi: The Dream of the Last Samurai and the Eureka 7 Movie.

After several delays, Tokyo Shock finally managed to release Takashi Miike's Ichi The Killer (Koroshiya Ichi) but judging from the comments over at Bluray.com the PQ isn't what we hoped for. HK Flix added Tokyo Shock's release of Tomoo Haraguch's Death Kappa to their site.

Taiwanese distributor BitWel announced some more upcoming titles for April but based on their recent releases I don't expect any reference discs from them when it comes to image quality.

Fans of high definition anime should keep their eyes on this new website Anime in Blu.

The Asian Blu-ray Guide already has more than 100 fans on Facebook, yay! Maybe this is the right time to plug the Facebook page for that other site of mine...
